response to news coverage

         The research on response to news coverage is qualitative research because it has people givng their  thoughts on certain topic of the news coverage. It can be helpful with a lot of people giving their opinons about the news because some people will responed in a different way to someonelse. A good example of news coverage is people compaining about the royal baby and they are not happy as there has been to much newscoverage on the subject. Another good example that I have found is on the BBC news website where there are a number of complaints about certain things on the BBC like tv shows and it explains why people are complaing about it. The website has a response from the BBC about these compalints and they explain why they have put these things on the BBC to show that they are not doing it to cause people to complain.




                                                

                                                     

The screen shot that i have above me is a response to a news coverage about the BBC and people are compaing about a news report that happeaned on BBC One at the 11th of september. The news compaint was about a question that was asked to Alex Salmond who is the scottish first minister but he did not give an answer which caused people to complain about this. The BBC had a response to this complaint about the news coverage by saying that there was in fact two questions asked to Alex Salmond and his answer was lengthy. This someimes shows that the viewers are not alway right and can be abit quick to judge when complaining about a news coverage.
