Response to advertising campaigns
The publics response to advertising campaigns is very important on different levels on one level the company for whom the advertising camapaign is functioning obvioulsy wants a postive response which they hope will lead to sales of products. On another level any intial good response can lead to a chain reaction for example word of mouth spreading or a video campaign going virule. A poor response on any of these levels can be damaging for sales.
The screenshot that i have uploaded onto my blogger is the daily mail and it is on the topic of the puma advertising campaign backfireing.
This is a form of qualitative research as it shows peoples thoughts about a campaign adverting and this type of research can benfit it because someones opinon could be an idea on the campaign which could be helpful. An example of responses to advertising campaigns can be the one about Puma's forever faster advert which features the worlds famous sports stars and how it back fires and gets twitter uses to get involved onto the subject.
